Can I Take L-Theanine+ With Other Supplements That Contain L-Theanine, Like the Sleep Probiotic+?Updated 18 minutes ago
Codeage does not provide directions for combining supplements, so each product is used as directed on its own label. If you take more than one supplement containing L-Theanine, a qualified healthcare professional is the best person to help you decide what is appropriate for you. Please do not exceed the suggested use of any product.
Which Codeage supplements contain L-Theanine?
Codeage L-Theanine+ is built around L-Theanine as its only active ingredient. L-Theanine is also part of the Sleep Blend in the Codeage Sleep Probiotic+, alongside Prebiotic GOS. You can learn more about that formula in What Is Prebiotic GOS and Why Is It in the Sleep Probiotic+?
How do I find out how much L-Theanine I am getting in total?
The Supplement Facts panel on each product is the place to look. For L-Theanine+, the amount is listed on its own line, per serving. For the Sleep Probiotic+, L-Theanine is listed within the Sleep Blend. The panel gives the blend’s total amount per serving and does not break out each ingredient separately, so we cannot provide a combined L-Theanine total across the two products.
What does it mean when an ingredient is part of a blend?
A blend is a group of ingredients listed together under one name, with a single amount shown for the whole group. The ingredients inside are listed on the panel, but the amount of each one is not shown individually. This is a common way for supplement panels to be written, and it is why the panel is the best reference for what each product lists.
Can I take L-Theanine+ and the Sleep Probiotic+ together?
We do not give guidance on combining supplements, and we are not able to say how any combination may suit an individual. Each product comes with its own directions, and we recommend following them. If you are considering using both, we recommend speaking with a qualified healthcare professional first.
What about medications or other supplements?
If you take prescription or over-the-counter medications, or other supplements, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new supplement. This applies to any supplement, and it is also noted on every Codeage label.
A Note on Supplement Use
Dietary supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Anyone who is pregnant or nursing, has a known medical condition, or takes prescription or over-the-counter medications is encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any dietary supplement.
Codeage formulas are developed with care and may be subject to adjustments over time. We recommend checking the current product label or page for the most up-to-date ingredient and formulation information.
