What Is the Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm by Codeage, and How Do I Use It?Updated 37 minutes ago
The Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm by Codeage is a topical cosmetic balm made with grass-fed beef tallow, encapsulated NAD+, hydrolyzed collagen peptides, and a blend of botanical oils. It is applied to cleansed skin, morning and/or night. It comes in two versions, Blue Tansy and Unscented, each in a 1.7 fl. oz. (50 mL) glass jar.
How do I use the NAD+ Tallow Balm?
Apply morning and/or night to cleansed skin. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and gently massage into the face, neck, lips, or dry areas until absorbed. This product is for external use only. Do not ingest.
What is the difference between Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm Blue Tansy and Unscented?
Both versions share the same core formula. Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm Blue Tansy by Codeage also includes Blue Tansy Extract, which gives it a Blue Tansy scent. Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm Unscented by Codeage does not contain Blue Tansy Extract and is made without added scent. If you prefer a balm without scent, choose the Unscented version.
What ingredients are in the NAD+ Tallow Balm?
Both versions list: Grass-Fed Beef Tallow, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+), Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides, Glutathione, Ubiquinone (CoQ10), Astaxanthin, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Seed Oil, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), and Behenyl Alcohol. The Blue Tansy version also lists Blue Tansy Extract.
What is NAD+?
NAD+ is short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a molecule found naturally in the body’s cells. On our label, “encapsulated” describes how the NAD+ is incorporated into the balm formula.
Can I use the balm on my lips?
Yes. The directions list lips among the areas for application. Because the balm is for external use only, avoid swallowing it.
Is the balm suitable for sensitive skin?
Review the full ingredient list above before use. Do not apply to broken, irritated, or rash-affected skin. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
Can I use the balm with the Maison Rouge NAD+ Face Serum and NAD+ Face Cream?
Yes. Many customers apply it as a final step in a skincare routine after cleansing. Follow the directions provided with each product.
