How should I store the NAD+ Tallow Balm?
Store at room temperature. Keep the jar closed when not in use, and keep it out of reach of children.
Why did my balm soften or melt?
Warm conditions, such as a hot car, direct sun, or a steamy bathroom, can soften the balm or make it appear glossy or liquid. Move it to a cooler spot at room temperature and it will typically firm up again.
Why does my balm feel firm or hard?
Cooler temperatures make a tallow base firmer. Warm a small amount between your fingertips before applying, as the directions describe.
Why does the surface look different, or why does it feel slightly grainy?
Tallow can solidify with a slightly different surface or texture after temperature changes. This is a physical change in the base, not a sign that anything has been added. Stirring is not needed. Warming it between your fingertips smooths the texture as you apply.
Does the Blue Tansy version smell or look different from the Unscented one?
Yes. The Blue Tansy version carries a Blue Tansy scent from its Blue Tansy Extract, and the Unscented version is made without added scent. Slight natural variation in the balm’s appearance can occur between jars.
How long does the balm last?
