Why Do I See Brownish or Yellow Particles in My Liposomal Magnesium L-Threonate Capsules?Updated a day ago

Some customers notice tiny brownish or yellow particles in the powder inside certain liposomal products. This appearance can be surprising, but it is normal and related to the natural characteristics of specific ingredients used in the formula.

What these small brown or yellow particles are
These particles are naturally occurring components from the non-GMO sunflower lecithin used in the liposomal formulation. Sunflower lecithin contains phospholipids—such as phosphatidylcholine—which may appear as tiny darker or yellowish particles once dried and encapsulated.

This variation can occur from batch to batch because the raw materials come from natural sources, and slight visual differences are normal.

Why this may look unusual
Liposomal formulas are made using phospholipids that form part of the liposomal structure. When dried into powder form, some of these phospholipid particles can appear as:

• Slightly darker specks
• Light brown or yellowish dots
• Small variation clusters inside the capsule

This does not affect the integrity or quality of the product.

What about the smell?
Liposomal ingredients and phospholipids can have their own natural aroma, which some customers describe as slightly “toasty” or “nutty.” This is common with lecithin-based raw materials and does not indicate spoilage.
