Can I Use the NAD+ Tallow Balm With Codeage NAD+ or NMN Supplements?Updated 2 hours ago

The Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm by Codeage is a topical cosmetic applied to the skin, and Codeage NAD+ and NMN supplements are taken by mouth. They are separate products with separate directions. The balm’s directions do not mention supplements, and Codeage does not make claims about using them together.

Are the NAD+ Tallow Balm and Codeage NAD+ or NMN supplements the same kind of product?

No. The balm is a cosmetic for external use only. It is applied morning and/or night to cleansed skin, as printed on the box, and it is not to be ingested. Codeage NAD+ and NMN supplements are dietary supplements taken by mouth according to their labels. Each product has its own formula, so please review the ingredient list on each product page.

What is the difference between NAD+ and NMN?

NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a molecule found naturally in the body’s cells. NMN stands for nicotinamide mononucleotide, a molecule related to NAD+ in the body. You can read more in What Is NMN, and What Is the Difference Between NMN and NAD+? For more on NAD+ in skincare, see What Is NAD+ and Why Is It Used in Skincare?

Does using the balm change how I take my supplements, or the other way around?

Each product is used according to its own directions. Using the balm does not change the directions on a supplement label, and taking a supplement does not change the directions on the balm. For how to use the balm, see What Is the Maison Rouge NAD+ Tallow Balm by Codeage, and How Do I Use It?

Questions about combining supplements are covered in Can I Take the Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 With Other NAD+ Precursor Supplements Like NR? We recommend following each product’s label.

A Note on Supplement Use

Dietary supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Anyone who is pregnant or nursing, has a known medical condition, or takes prescription or over-the-counter medications is encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any dietary supplement.

For the balm, please follow the cautions printed on the box: for external use only, avoid contact with eyes, do not apply to broken, irritated, or rash-affected skin, and if irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Codeage formulas are developed with care and may be subject to adjustments over time. We recommend checking the current product label or page for the most up-to-date ingredient and formulation information.
